Don’t let the low price of Plan B skateboards fool you into thinking that they aren’t comparable to many of the higher priced ones out there. In 1991 Plan B was created by a man and his connections with some professional skaters. As a result, Plan B was able to come out with some very creative ideas for their skateboards. They also had the endorsements of those that were looked up to by those in the world of skateboarding.
Yet the Plan B skateboards were halted in 1995 due to the death of the main creator, Mike Ternasky. There was plenty of potential for money to be made but due to legal issues with the name and such things were placed on hold. It was 2005 before the Plan B skateboard was offered again. Since that time though it has received a very warm welcome by those consumers looking for quality skateboards.
These are incredibly well made skateboards with colorful designs on them. There are some common lines of them including the Acid Trip and Plan B designs. You will have to decide for yourself which of them really conveys what you want to be associated with for your personal use.
Not everyone is happy to buy a complete skateboard though and Plan B is aware of that. They offer all of their decks individually as well. This can allow you to create your own customized skateboard. You add the wheels, trunk, and other hardware to it. Knowing you have a quality deck to attach all of it to will encourage you to try out this option for yourself. You will also find this is a great alternative to paying a huge sum of money to have a customized Plan B skateboard made for you.
You can be sure there are going to be plenty of advances offered by Plan B in the future. They have been working hard to emerge as one of the leaders in the skateboarding industry. The fact that they are dedicated to making quality products but also selling them for a low price shows they are interested in seeing the world of skateboarding growing rather than just lining their own pockets.
